Melissa Meeks Berlin graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina with a major in foreign languages.  She taught English as a Second Language to adult immigrants and refugees for 24 years at Florida State College at Jacksonville.

In her spare time from teaching, Melissa and her husband, a Florida licensed building contractor, renovated many houses in Jacksonville, including their own 1920’s house.  Along the way, she learned basic home repairs and renovating.  This appreciation for older homes brought Melissa to Sydonie Mansion where she hopes to help preserve this grand home and is managing communications and marketing.

Thank you to the companies and craftsman who have worked with us on this project. We could not have done this without them! The launch event will highlight their work and products and showcase how they helped bring Sydonie to life.
